The big picture

There are no accidents or coincidences with God. You are here, raising your children in THIS SPECIFIC MOMENT in history by His intentional design. God’s “Big Picture” is always made up of intricate details and plans that only He understands. You, yes the Mama you are today, in THIS moment is who God decided should be in a position of directing your home and leading your children THROUGH THIS EXACT time in history! Things are scary and weird and it’s SO hard to know which way to turn right now. But we must remember that we are not here by accident. We were not given some randomly selected lottery of children. We are raising the next generation of warriors, Jesus-followers, citizens, voters, parents, leaders, government officials, etc. FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS! 🙌🏼 Focus less on what is going wrong in the world, and direct your energy to how YOUR home and YOUR children will have a positive impact on the chaos. Perhaps God has you here to raise a generation that will affect the change we are all hurting for. Perhaps He just wants our peace in these chaotic times to shine SO bright that the darkest world cannot deny HIS LIGHT! If we cower in fear; if we begin to retreat; if we drop the banner of Christ’s most powerful commandments to love Him & love others..... we may just be abandoning our commission entirely. It is the great temptation in this time- even in the realm of those who claim to follow Christ- to “fight” and argue and disparage those with whom we disagree in the name of “our Nation”. Nowhere does the Bible command patriotism. But it does command that we love others. We are doing a lot of busy work & I fear neglecting the GREAT WORK! Do not be distracted. Your family and your home are planted by the Most High “for such a time as this.” Act accordingly.
